Classic Chicken stir fry

Stir fry recipes are always classic favourite for most foodies. The chicken stir fry is one of the most heavily flavoured preparation in the stir fry genre.

Ingredients:

Chicken chunks- boneless and de-skinned- 2 cups
Salt and pepper to taste
Soy sauce- 4 tablespoon
Corn-starch- 1 tablespoon
Water- 1 cup
Seasonal vegetables- chopped into bite size pieces- 1 cup, here capsicum, onions, beans and carrots
Italian seasoning- 1 table spoon
1 table spoon sugar

Directions

In a pot of boiling water, add a pinch of salt and boil the chicken chunks until they are soft. Drain the water and set the chunks aside. In a small bowl add the corn flour to the water and stir vigorously so that no lump is formed. Add the soya sauce to this solution and also the salt and sugar that you would be adding to the preparation later. Ensure the solution is on the thicker side. On the frying pan, heat some olive oil, add the Italian seasoning and black pepper, the veggies and the chicken and stir them until the chicken are slightly brown and the veggies are soft. Add the sauce and stir fry for another five minutes.
